Carrying out of internal investigations, consisting of:
• Meeting with the manager/director commissioning the investigation and agree terms of reference    usually on site
• Reviewing the documentation available (e.g. complaints documents, policies etc) at appropriate  location
• Arranging and conducting interviews with appropriate people (i.e. complainant, alleged perpetrator,  witnesses) on site or appropriate location
• Carrying out administration off site (i.e. type up notes of interviews, consider evidence available, draw  conclusions and make recommendations)
• Present completed case to manager/director and obtain sign off

Developing and delivering Employment Investigation Workshop(s) for managers, consisting of:
• Meeting with the manager/director to discuss the training needs of the appropriate people
• Drawing up a proposal, tailored for the organisation
• Delivering a workshop to the appropriate personnel (no more than six recommended in each  workshop)
• Meeting with the manager/director to discuss the training and identify any further activity

Coaching and mentoring of inexperienced investigators, consisting of:
• Meeting with the manager/director to discuss the needs of the appropriate people (they may be the  same people who were trained and who are now carrying out investigations)
• Meeting with individuals to monitor and/or review a case or cases
• Agreeing the number of sessions with both parties and agree success criteria

Development of policies and protocols, consisting of:
• Meeting with the manager/director to discuss the purpose, structure and needs of the organisation
• Referring to any existing documentation
• Writing a draft policy or protocol in accordance with terms of reference and ensuring there is no risk of  a breach of legislation
• Presenting documentation to manager/director and obtain sign off
